9/11 – An anthroposophic Observation

Twelve years ago the Twin Towers catastrophe happened. It has left an indelible imprint on our culture and hearts and minds.

And yet there is still another reason why this day should live in our consciousness.

Rudolf Steiner marks in his Calendar the 11th of September as a commemoration day of the Patriarch ABRAHAM! This indication is not to be taken lightly.

Abraham was entrusted by the spiritual world with the mission of quite literally introducing the logical thinking and nature observation into his descendants – into us. Up to then the world had been understood more through powers of mysticism. He was to begin the process of deciphering the mysteries of the natural, observable world by using the powers of logical reasoning, by understanding that the laws of the cosmos, of the stars are found in the world of the senses. Antimonium Crudum 6X bottle with sealsThe world of the Gods was to be discovered hence forth as also manifested in the earth not just to be experienced in the “heavens”. Such, according to Rudolf Steiner is the deeper meaning of the Biblical pronouncement that “your descendants shall be ordered by the laws of the stars.” This leads then to the formation of the 12 Tribes, and so on. (According to R. Steiner it is a mistranslation to say simply that his descendants were to be as numerous as the  stars, or as numerous as the sand by the sea.) All this happened in the 3rd millennium B.C.

However, following spiritual law individualities as exalted as Abraham most accomplish their mission twice! The second time needs to be in a sense a mirror image of the first.

Beginning with the year 2000 for the rest of the 3rd millennium Abraham now leads mankind to recognize that the spiritual laws manifest in the stars must be consciously understood in the culture, the nature and the substances around us. Just as he led mankind previously into a deeper connection with the earth this individuality will lead mankind now to a reconnecting with the spiritual impulses of the cosmos.

Millions of people are beginning to consider 9/11 as a day of service and are urging that 9/11 be designated as a National Day of Service. Let’s go in the deepest direction. We can consider September the 11, every year, in the spirit of Abraham, to be the beginning of a year in which impulses are to be renewed, impulses that lead to understanding the connection of our health substances with the star impulses that give them strength.

We are particularly grateful that the Launch of our new OTC Line of remedies with their Validated Potencies, and their decided connection to cosmic impulses, happens to fall on this day.

Please join us in celebrating with us.

    Evening Verse

    Oh Michael Christ
I bear my Sorrow in the sinking sun.
I place all my cares in your radiant bosom.
Purified in light, transformed in Love
May they return as strength for joyful
    Deeds of Sacrifice .

    Thank you.

Could you please footnote this reference to Steiner and it seems that Aristotle and the Greeks were more the children of Abraham than the Hebrews.

Thank you for that beautiful meditation. What a surprise for me
Who (whom?)are you suggesting for Abraham in our time?
I do join with you, and congratulate you, on your newly developed product line.
I appreciate and thank you for your clear reminder about the stars, and their power in our lives.

    It raises many thoughts,

Such events (9/11) do indeed occur on spiritually significant days, to mask for us, and divert us from observing higher truths and spiritual connections. From now on I will associate it with celebrating Abraham (which is done in the synagog at the High Holy Days at this time – with the reading and discussions around the sacrifice of the 33- year- old Isaac, the “only son”.)

I cannot look at the 9/11 events without thinking of what a misfortune it is to our country that, to this day, the parties in our highest levels of government who were actually responsible for the 9/11 destruction, haven’t been openly identified, cited, prosecuted, and punished for the destruction and murders they masterminded and underwrote, all for their own political, and financial, advantage.

To this day, all the challenges to the pap-and-porridge government – released stories of this event go unanswered, or answered with more pap and porridge; with untruth.

At this time, responsible engineering groups from around the world are sending challenges to our government for dodging the facts with structurally impossible fairy tales. Yet the fairy tales continue.
I have personal contact with one of these engineers, a “master builder”

I cannot hear the tragic stories, and the tragic mourning for 9/11, without anger that the truth has been so squelched, and by and large unknown.
Whistle blowers are labeled “conspiracy theorists” and wiped away with the wave of a hand.

As Anthroposophists we are – must be – committed to truth.
For me, the mournful observance of 9/11 carries acidic bitterness, and much concern, because of the Luciferic acceptance of the factual impossibilities that have been fed to us by our government around this event.

All of that is true,’ responded Don Quixote, ‘but we cannot all be friars, and God brings His children to heaven by many paths: chivalry is a religion, and there are sainted knights in Glory.’

Yes,’ responded Sancho, ‘but I’ve heard that there are more friars in heaven than knights errant.’

That is true,’ responded Don Quixote, ‘because the number of religious is greater than the number of knights.’

There are many who are errant,’ said Sancho.

Many,’ responded Don Quixote, ‘but few who deserve to be called knights.”
